Sanderson siblings are interesting case, in which they served in same unit and often fight together. Generally, Federation and most Colonial armed force barred close siblings to serving in same unit up to regimental / company size. In Sanderson case, Col. Winters pulled few strings on request of Capt. Price, whom view both siblings are ‘potential assets’.

Sanderson Siblings lost their parents when Gerald and Patty are still 13 and 5 respectively. Young Gerald soon filled the roles of parents for Patty, doing many part-time jobs to earn living for both of them. When he reaches 17, Gerald enlisted on Albion Army and serving in airborne unit for a tour of duty. He then recruited into 22nd Airborne Commando (spiritual successor of 22 SAS) and involved in many recon mission against BIOTICS. Unified colony-federation Special Force Command briefly recruited him into a SOD unit to hunts a notorious Drug Cartels on South America, an experience which he described as ‘vacation compared to hunting those bugs’.

Meanwhile, at her 11th birthdays Patricia found herself compatible with GEMs, in which she eligible to becoming a Lancer. Since she still fall short below eligible recruitment ages (14 years old and above), she admitted into Sandhurst Girl Academy to receive Lancers Junior Cadet before receive her basic training. Living in a dorm with semi-militaristic rule is a hard experience for introverted Patty. She often feels lonely and emotional during her days on academy, and as such often picked up by her instructor and other cadets. It’s not until she received her Lancers Basic Training that her unique abilities are discovered. Her Ability, dubbed ‘Jack-Of-All-Trade’, enables her to use any known Lancers abilities (except healing) for short period time and weaker result. While sounded great, this ability needs some patience and motivation to be properly mastered, and motivation is what Patricia lacked at that time.

Luckily for her, at that time Winters and Catherine are recruiting for to-be-formed Task Force 181, and Patricia catch Catherine attention due to her ability and her situation. At same time, Gerald is one of SOD operative slated into TF-181 after their mission in South America. When Winters finds out about two siblings, she used the fact of Gerald admittance to convinced Patricia for joining the task force. Patricia fell to it and willingly joined TF-181, though Gerald is less than thrilled when she found out about this. Two siblings are remain close, however, and while they generally have low opinion toward Col. Winters in personal, they loved TF-181 and have their utmost respect for Catherine.

In TF-181, Patricia used Scorpion MBT armor, basic derivative of Scimitar MBT armor that more commonplace. While identical in performance with Scimitar MBT, Scorpion has their fire-control output system programmed with L2A1 light beam rifle (or any Beam gun) as opposed to Scimitar’s Beam spray gun. As result, Scorpion and Scimitar unable to trades weapon without some tweaking, much to annoyance in field. Scimitar are far more well-liked by it users though, and Scorpion MBT are in middle of phased out from service by Albion Armed Force.

Operator from H&S unit are usually equipped with Powered Assault Armor when in field, but in base area or transport duty behind lines they wear anything they like, with MK2 Light Personal Armor covering it and AVD-1 HUD/Comm unit. Shotgun are preferred over standard Assault gun, and here Gerald wield M4a1 semi-auto shotgun, chambered in either 8-gauge or explosive slug.
