Description
Ram II Cruiser Armor was a part of Albion commonwealth program for better Cruiser Armor design during 2642s. Based on effective if very unwieldy Terran Federation M3 Grant/Lee Medium Combat Armor, it is designed by Montreal Locomotive Factory and compete with Cromwell Cruiser Armor and Sentinel Cruiser Armor. In the end, Ram II and Sentinel lose from Cromwell but in other hand Albion Royal Lancers Corps decided to procure M4 Sherman Medium Combat Armor from Terran Federation as their main equipment. As result, Cromwell only used on reconnaissance formation or leased to other allied army.

Ram II itself were adopted in quantity as training armor and still in use at least on early 2650s. This photograph show a group of Albion Lancers Corps officer cadets with a Ram-II, presumably on some equipment familiarization drill. Small number of Sentinels are converted to field either 25pdr-L or 17pdr-L Energy Handheld Cannon and used to equip some reserve unit.
