- Woodward is the Oldest child to Posey Shy and Swirly Skies (Mr and Mrs Shy)
- Like his younger sister, Woodward has always had an affinity for working with animals and with plant life. For the longest time he was away from home due to being in a special program to become a vet and to also look into working with special plants.
- He currently is working at Sweet Feather Sanctuary along side Dr. Fauna.
- Is a bit bolder than Fluttershy but not as snarky as Zephyr Breeze. Helps his brother from time to time but is not shy to put his hoof down and be harsher on his brother than his parents.
- Loves to help make home remedies with the plants he grows to help the animals.
