Description
A summoner is supposed to use their champions well, to lead them to victory, to make sure they prevail. Well, not all summoners can do such a thing when they first start out.

You were just that summoner, still a rookie that turned level 20 not too long ago. Other summoners were inviting you to games and most of the time you were carried by them to win. Tonight, you were the carry. You controlled the champion Ezreal, bottom lane, adc. This time, you were suppose to carry the game. Sadly, out of the entire game you only managed to get a single kill and little cs, while the other team kept ganking your lane, thus causing you to lose the game all together.

You sighed, looking down sadly, your face covered by the hood of your long, purple and gold cloak. You were surrounded by other summoners, in their own cloaks. Obviously, most of them were angry. “Ugh! What total bs!” One of them whined, pulling back his hood. “Behave, she’s just starting out. You should have just let her support like always.” Another summoner said, pulling back her hood as well. “I’m sorry…” You said, softly. The one summoner who was whining not too long ago, let out a huge sigh. “Whatever. I’m going to bed.” He said, two others following behind him as they left the room. Your female teammate walked up to you and patted your shoulder. “It’s not your fault, we didn’t expect the jungler to keep bottom lane so protected.” She said. You kept looking down, still feeling upset, knowing your other teammates were pissed at you. “It was also your first time as Ez, don’t get so worked up about it. How about we play a bot game and you can practice him.” She said, pulling up her hood, ready to start the game.

“Actually…i’m going to head for bed too…” You said, hugging yourself before slowly walking out of the room. You headed to your bedroom and closed the door behind you, immediately flopping down onto your bed. You began whining into your sheets with tears in your eyes. You tried to let your friend’s words sink in but, you were to sad to do that. You could only wallow in disappointment. You let your team down, their champions down, even your own. You then got up, thinking of Ezreal. He got killed so many times in the game, and thinking back on it made you worried about him. On that note, summoned your controlling orb into your hands.

The orb is used for many things.
In game, it is used to perform summoner spells and control your champion on the Fields of Justice. However, it is also used to summon your champions to the summoner. Sometimes to get to know new champions you recently purchased or buy new skins and see how they look.

You thought about the few champions you owned; Annie, Lux, Sona, and then Ez. As soon as you thought of him, he was summoned to your room. The blonde immediately appeared, obviously looking confused. Once he saw you, however, he smiled. “Hey summoner!” He greeted, in his usual cocky and cherry attitude. “You know Ez, you can just call me ____. I don’t mind.” You said, making your orb disappear. “Right, sorry.” He said, rubbing the back of his neck. You looked down at your feet once again, feeling nervous. Ezreal wasn’t the type to be upfront when he’s angry or upset, especially in front of summoners. “How…How are you feeling?” You asked, practically mumbling it. He managed to hear you though, answering your question.

“I’m a hell of a lot better now. Sona really healed me up.”

He began rolling his shoulders, still having a grin on his face. Somehow, you didn’t believe that. You could only imagine the pain he had to go through after dying and respawning so many times. “…I’m sorry.” You said, gripping your cloak tightly. “Huh?” Ezreal looked over at you, surprised to hear you say that. “Sorry? For what?” He asked, walking closer to you. “I should have done better with you. You got killed so many times and….I feel awful about it!” You said, tears welling up in your eyes once again. Most summoners didn’t care how many times their champions died or what they had to go through on the Fields, you were one of the few who did. Your eyes widen as you felt a hand over one of yours. You looked up, seeing Ez kneeling down to you.

“A champion is suppose to die for their summoner. It hurts but, if I can’t go through some pain, I wouldn’t be able to stay with you, right?” He said, smiling wide. Your cheeks turned a bit pink, still looking at him with widened eyes. “You’ll take me to victory soon, and far into the future of League, i’ll still be there!” He added, giving you a thumbs up and winking. Hearing those words made tears roll down your cheeks. You quick embraced the blonde tightly, causing him fall back and land on his butt, taking you with him. You hid your face into his shoulder, still hugging him tightly, not noticing his now flushed cheeks. “Um…__-____?”

Hearing him say your name made your heart skip a beat. You sniffed lightly as you held him tighter. “Thank you Ez…” You said through your soft cries. He smiled wide and you felt his arms wrap around your body. “I’m always here for you, _____.” He replied, nuzzling against you gently.

After a couple minutes of him trying to stop your crying, you let him go. However, he left you with one silly little saying.
“You belong in a museum~!”

Those words seem to stick with you because, after that night, you played Ezreal more and more. You managed to get more kills and carry games better than ever. Your teammates were so proud of you and in no time, you became a level 30. You played ranked games and earned badges of honor for carrying your team well and being an honorable opponent. Soon enough, many rookies that were just like you came to you for advice. You gave them the best advice you could, considering you still didn’t think to highly of your skills.

Every so often, one of them would ask; ‘Who’s your main?’, ‘Which champion do you use the most?’, ‘Who do you like playing with best?’.
Your answer would always be the same….
