Magtanggol is a Filipino fictional character from the story of the same title.
Magtanggol is a Tagalog name that means "defender."
His story is about his adventures defending his small native clan from colonizing foreigners since the Dark Ages up to the present.

The art is pen and ink drawing colored in Photoshop.
I drew this character with a body builder friend of mine as model but I used Toriyama manga style + a bit of Jim Lee lines to suit my drawing taste for this character. Corel Draw Philippines used this one in its ad campaign for the year 2005.
