Well, I'm going to a con, and I don't got a table. But I still hope to meet lots of people and talk about what I do, so to make it seem like I'm a bit more on the ball than I actually am, I tossed these bad-girls together!!!! There's 10 different pictures in total-- this is just the first six.Now I just have to run out and buy a new color cartridge for the printer and some decent card stock!

Thanks! I hope so to. I still haven't heard anything about getting an artist's table... but I don't have too much to sell anyway. Oh well, I'm now loaded up with 2000 business cards! Wheee!!!

LOL! Yes, they are everywhere! I was originally going to just print on cardstock, but then I found pre-perforated business card cardstock! So it made it go a lot faster since I didn't have to cut everything out.

There's usually a table or two that go unclaimed each sacanime so you might be able to work something out there. If not I have a number of friends who work artist alley maybe one of them could lend you some table space?

I'm on the waiting list and I'm trying to get my ducks lined up (last minute) so that I'll be good to go if one of the tables is available... if not, I'll see if I can network something. Are any of your friends doing Brony stuff, or just anime stuff?

Well three of the artist alley friends are in the MLP skit I mentioned and they may have some pony merch, but I'm not completely sure. I could ask them about it if you like.

Sure! I honestly don't have too terribly much in the way of kits to sell, but I certainly wouldn't mind sitting down somewhere and pulling the ponies out to show off. At the very least, maybe I could drop off some of these business cards at their table.

So far outlook not super good as the one person to get back to me is sharing the table with two others as is, but she's willing to put business cards out. Any word back from the con on the waiting list? Still putting out feelers just in case.
I hear ya on the vacation thing. Family trip next week and a con leading into it has me a bit scatterbrained trying to get everything done in time.

The Hot Topic shirts are too thin... and they're polyester... Polyester makes people sweat and smell bad. WeLoveFine *is* cotton, which is perfect! I just have this bad habit of wanting to see something in person before I buy it... which is the biggest reason I've been dragging my feet. If nobody has any brony shirts for sale, then I'm at least going to meet up with some other bronies, and hopefully one or more of them will have a T-shirt I can see and judge the quality of.

That's actually a really good plan. Clothing in particular is one of those things that's tricky to judge without having the physical product around. I know a good number of bronies who go to this con so I'm sure you'll find them that way at least.

its cheaper to print them at a local printing shop than waste your ink!!!

For basic cards, yes. But I wanted something a bit flashier... I also tend to have ink cartridges go bad on me due to lack of use, so I'm not too worried about running my two year old color ink cartridge dry.
