Description
Very old illustration made for the Museum of Insects of the University of Costa Rica.Color pencils over white paper.
About 6x6\"
Worked with preserved specimen model. I would say it has good taxonomy, but then again, I\'m not a scientist

It's pretty good.. the tarsus has a good level of details I bet looks really amazing on the paper.

I worked with rough pencils, and the drawing fits into an 8.5x11" page, so there's not a lot more detail than what you see here

still it's hard to make shadows on small parts like those, it's a very good shadowing.

I'm not an entomologist (yet) but I think the anatomy looks perfect. Hurray, someone actually payed attention to the amount of tarsal and antennae segments!! This is amazing!
