I really love anime, and Canaan is by far my favorite. It is an amazing show about a group of people who lived in a town where a biological weapon was tested. The Ua virus (as it is called) is supposed to have a 100% fatality rate yet the survivors all had gained special powers. The main character Canaan has a power called synesthesia which allows her to mix her senses. She can see an aura like image surrounding people to tell her what peoples true intentions are and stuff like that. It's a very good show, it's on Hulu. Sadly it is only 13 episodes.
