The next cook was the calmest guy ever. I asked him if I could take his picture, and he just sat there and nodded, and looked straight at me. I felt more nervous than he did, probably.I love how he came out in this shot.

his stare is really intense. I could see why you got nervous taking this photo. The colors are so beautiful. And the bike handle doesnβt even bother the shot at all. The lighting on his face and the dark background really bring the photo to life. Love love it!

This is such a beautiful portrait. The colour range is fantastic. The subject has a wonderful face, and manages to convey something of himself - and you captured it. He looks and feels very much alive, but somehow sad, and weary. It's as if he open and closed at the same time. The composition is great - I like the way his left arm seem to be raised out of shot, and the dark object protrudes into the image.
