I painted this rather recently, like a few days ago. Took me a week to do it, but I have to say, I'm really proud of this one (if I may toot my horn) - I think this is one of my BEST so far (not that all the other stuff I've done is crap, just I LOVE it when an idea falls onto paper, sketch, then the sketch makes it to the final draft, draft makes it to line work, etc. - basically everything falls into place)

I'm sort of in an angel, mermaid and animal phase...along with portraits...not to say you wouldn't be seeing fairies from me at all...you will, I just go with the flow of my muse - well, sometimes.

This original is available at Etsy [link] - but she comes with another original. 17x15, NO white border, all done in watercolor with hints of white ink and acrylic for high lights and wing work, all on Fabriano cold pressed watercolor paper (my favorite) and YES I will have prints - eventually.

And now, the follow up stuff makes me edgy...can I come back with something that will top this? Don't know...only time will tell! Toodles!
