Description Just for fun, I thought I'd start showing the step-by-step process that I use to drew these personal sketch cards.

These cards measure 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches and were drawn with micron pens and Prismacolor markers/pencils.

Nicely done! Just wondering, what kind of card stock do you use?

w0w! Thanks for this Otis. I love to see how everyone does their gift. If you dont mind, I have a couple of questions for you...

1. Your flats I assume are done with Prismacolor markers, is the last step here just going over it and adding detail with pencils or both?

2. I noticed you left white outlines around the characters during your flats, do you go over them again with white in your final step? I always assumed you added white "over" the colors.

You make it all look so easy Otis, I truly enjoy your work...

1. The flats AND the shading are done with Prisma markers. I only use white, brown and black prisma pencils for some detal work.

2. Sometimes I do them in the color stage, sometimes I do them after the card is colored. It just depends on the look I'm after.
