This is a sketch of a tattoo i designed and am thinking about getting... i've superimposed it onto a shot of my back... (no comments on that please). If anyone sees this who knows much about tats and thinks this is impossible to recreate with accuracy on this scale please let me know. Otherwise i would love to know what you think about the design. It is the outline of the march hare with his pocket watch being held in his left hand. The quote is my favorite from the book (Alice and Wonderland) and possibly my favorite of all time:"I could tell you my adventures beginning from this morning, but its no use going back to yesterday, because i was a different person then." - Lewis Carroll

OMG!! I would love to have this inked!! my hubby just got started on tattoing and i let him ink me for practice XD eveything cool this far but i want all of my tattoos to be alice themed only, im half way on one "Down the rabbit hole" and looking forward for 2 more "we're all mad here " and "curioser & curioser" it would be awesome to have this one too i'm in LOVE!!!

This is wonderful, my only issue with it is that 'its' on your drawing need to have an apostrophe (it's) to be correct grammatically

I am in love with this tattoo. I am in the process of getting sleeved on my right arm with the traditional illustrations... I have two pics of where I am at now in my gallery.

I read the books recently and I've been planning a series of photographs based on the descriptions and other bits about each character....nothing that you would ever expect to see when looking at wonderland photographs by somebody who simply liked the disney version

i think this can totally be done, make sure you get someone who can tattoo small things, they'll be able to get the small detail or the lettering really well. good luck!

not yet, no money. been reworking it for at least 4 years now. I just sent the file to another deviant who said she was going to get it done, so i may actually get to see the real thing in a near future. Someday it will be on my body though.

I actually was going to get a horse the size of a piece of paper on my side and it was going to be made up of words much like this design.
My tattoo artist said it is do-able, but its in the $1000 range and over time you will not be able to read the words and it will look bad.
So all in all, I think its a great idea but a bad tattoo.

yeah i was also told i'd have to enlarge it quite a bit, the price was to be in the $250 range because i needed to go to a detail artist specialist. Still thinking about getting it, just need the cash flow!

not yet, i'm still reworking it to perfection, it's been through about 3 drafts... it will be significantly large due to detail so i want it to be perfect, plus it's expensive. i will repost when i get it done. thanks for the love.
