Description I've always been taken by the story of Joan of Arc,her courage, her spiritual inspiration, her commitment, her victory in battle. But like so many other divinely invested individuals throughout history, her utter destruction occurs in the hands of the church... That which cannot be explained will always be seen as a threat by lesser men.

Love it. It perfectly captures the "In Between" of those who have greater vision.

Jeanne d'Arc is my patron saint, and has been a favorite of mine (and an inspiration) since I read a book about her when I was in junior high (much to my parents chagrin it started me on a broader quest for "Truth"). It's amazing a young woman of 18 could do so much!

From a technical standpoint, I think this is one of your better pieces. The manipulation is a bit more seamless than your others.

The "elk rune" from the parachute backdrop is a really nice touch.

4,
I'm learning as I go. Now I really know why there's the category "scraps".
Thank you for your comments ,as usual...
The Elk ruin was purely spontaneous...

I thought that would contribute to the overall portrayal of this petite peasant girl divinely inspired in her all night vigil with the sword in the chapel before battle...
