This Jolly Monster is like Orcabilly, one of the 5 Jolly Monster who ate too much sea/lake/pon life and turned into a mutation of fish and Jolly.
He should have better known that a pond of koi fish are not good for him. Now his body is partial scaled and partial fur and skin.

You see that some parts of him are dark (right side), almost black. Well, he was once one of a depressed Jolly but after arriving on our planet and eating all those beautiful koi fishes he was able to find happiness. He was once pure black
