I hope it doesn't get painted over either. It is my understanding, after meeting tons of other people who have seen the wall, that it has survived unscathed for over a year. Perhaps it's luck will hold out.
As far as painting a Decepticon symbol, I say GO FOR IT! What is the worst that could happen?
