In my eyes you are an angel, not pure, not innocent, but still an angel none the less. You are the angel that roams the skies, you are the angel that catches all. Although I see that you can't set eyes upon the lowly, I still have a heart for something like you. Even thought I so forth thought that an angel could have a heart to love a mortal, for then I thought that I was set out. i wondered how an angel could fly so proud, always wearing a smile on their face. Even in war they fight so proud, yet you I see want something more. No limits, no family to call you out. You want a life free from rule, you want to be the one that rules. I wish I could help, yet a mortal can do nothing but breath the air you so deemingly regret.
How long I actually stood here in the dark, worshipping the shadow that you cast. Standing here all alone, I begin to wonder if I left, would you even know that I was gone? Yet still I couldn't leave. There was no chance that I would walk away, away from my angel. But still I have my doubts, though I never found the courage to call you name. I so want to just utter your name, cry out to see if you would turn your head. But still I know that your not angel, and I think that is why I fell in love. I fell in love with one so defiant, not just willing to turn and open up the heart. I think that when I was denied that was what truly told me that I was forth loved.
