I was going to the zoo but the beach sounds like a much better idea!Had a general idea regarding this comic for months but once again, I just started working on it with minimal planning. It was supposed to be pretty short with only two characters but I went beyond that with new ponies, adding Swift and creating three backgrounds instead of the original two.
Blossom's pose is a variation of a piece from Rattlesire and it turned out... well, her reaction pretty much echoed my sentiments. Now, don't get me wrong. I wanted something better but nothing perverse.
As for what happened to Widget, she does have a poor sense of direction. The fact she even showed up in Seeing Red is a minor miracle.
Finally, I did end up creating a few new characters except for the stallion with the purple hair. That's Shaleclaw's OC who I added because he's helping me edit my fan-fic Return to Flight. Twas the least I could do.

Brayside Beach is its own separate town. I just meant that the stallion to mare ratio is more balanced by the coast, with mares like Blossom being one of the reasons.

All my work is done on Inkscape using a mouse. Some use of bases which I create and modify to my whim. Often, I use the pencil tool to "draw" something, like the hair or hooves, and then use that as a guide for tracing.
