You should look trough *milleniumsentry , ^FarDareisMai and *fractek 's galleries for more fractal awesomness!


And yea, that is genneraly my "thing" in fractal art. to make the farctals look as far from generic as possible. thank you for the comment!

It's a beautiful light-coloured work. It looks like a stained glass trough which the sun is shining... I'm wondering how fractals are used in such works?

Oh, we are a couple of fractalists on dA with the goal of trying out different formulas and do unusual stuff witht them.


Sometimes, i pass by something completely unuseable at first glance, but as i dig into the formula, someting like that is the result.

Have you a special software to make this? Do you compose with colours and make an artistic appearance after a "mathematical rough" or is it the direct result of the formulas?

Well, the software i use is called "Ultra Fractal 5.03"
this time, the oclouring is almost a direct result as you suggested.
but i piled a bunch of layers with different gradients on top of each other w/h of merging modes (not unlike photoshop)
