this piece makes me think of an african mating ritual.

yes! the circles are two different sizes and that made me think of man and woman. then the spray of colors made me think of the dress skirts they wear in africa during rituals. and the patters of the lines coming off the circles are fierce and sensual to me, two things I equate with sex.
