Attentive

Despite his lack of hearing, Jitsu is a very attentive kit, whos very aware of the world around him. Since he can't hear, he often ends up staring at the cats around him- just in case someone is trying to gesture to get his attention, or so nobody accidentally startles him. He has a tendency to move his ears towards cats he sees talking, despite the fact this does not help him actually hear them.

Inquisitive
Jiji is an inquisitive, curious kitten, who enjoys learning and exploring. Learning things can be a bit more challenging for him at times, since he can't hear others explainations of things, but this doesn't seem to slow him down any- he seems content to put in the effort and try regardless. There isn't much that he doesn't seem interested in, and can often be seen toddling after things or staring at something curiously.

Hardworking
With his lack of hearing, Jitsu knows he has to work a bit harder than hearing cats to learn and to function- and he doesn't seem to mind any. Hardworking and determined, he doesn't let his deafness slow him down or stop him from doing things. He tackles obstacles head on, and as many times as necessary to overcome them, no matter how many tries it takes.

Stubborn

Jiji is, for better or for worse, a very stubborn little cat, who will at time purposefully ignore the gestures of cats telling him no. He likes doing things his way and in his own time- and his struggle with communication can make it pretty hard for him to get this across, or to understand why he's being stopped from doing stuff. He can get quite indignant about it.

Introverted
While his siblings tend to be quite rowdy, Jitsu isn't quite so- tending towards introverted behaviors. It may be in part due to how often he has to spend watching others or being aware of his surroundings, which makes him constantly on alert. Alongside this, he has yet to learn how to communicate around his lack of hearing, so he isn't terribly social outside of his family.

Quiet
Since Jiji can't hear, he also doesn't really know how to speak- not to mention he seems pretty conscious about the fact he is accidentally quite loud when he does try to make sound, since he doesn't hear his own volume. As such, Jiji is more often than not silent, and doesn't make much sound in general outside of the happy purrs that leave him against his will when with his siblings or dad.

History:

When Arcis discovered Jitsu and his siblings, the risk Jiji was at wasn't immediately obvious. Due to the harsh winter, Jitsu was already severely ill, and fighting for his life- and he was already in the process of losing something due to the illness.
