Personality:

+Positive+

Saturn is a bubbly cat, eager to please and always looking to have a great time. He’s rather positive, always looking for the bright side of things, regardless of the situation. Friendly to anyone he meets, this little cat loves to entertain, make others smile, and just enjoy life.

/Neutral/

Free Spirited by nature, Saturn is prone to wandering, exploring, and drifting from project to project. He tends to be somewhat flighty because of it- growing bored with one project and dropping it for a new one. He can also be somewhat childish, messing around and playing games when he should probably be more serious.

-Negative-

Despite his love for being around others, Saturn is actually relatively private, disliking letting cats he doesn’t know well in, or talking about his problems. He can be selfish at times, holding his own sense of freedom and way of life over a lot of things that others might find more important. Not only that, but he can be a bit mischievous, enjoying pranks and pushing the buttons of others- just a little.

History:

Saturn’s early memories, while hazy, were good ones. Days spent curled between his parents and siblings, the sounds of his parents' family all around them- it had been a comfort to the kitten. He was restless from the day he was born, often unable to sleep, squirming about before he could even get his legs under him. He wasn’t sick by any means, but he was certainly struggling a bit more- little baby complaint mewls slipping out of him as if it would help. He was a well-loved kitten, though, and surrounded in family. Despite maybe a bit of concern, Saturn grew alongside his siblings, even when his tiny kitten brain detested sleep.

The first time Saturn opened his eyes, and the light and colors of the world flooded into them, he was instantly enamored. He could see his siblings, his parents, so many cats all around them, all bathed in light, colors streaming in from all around him- and he had been mesmerized. Wobbling steps had carried him just far enough to collapse by the entrance of their den, wide eyes staring up at the starscape above, even as his legs splayed out and rendered him quite stuck. The infinite vastness, dotted in stars- it had brought a smile to his muzzle, the kitten turning his head to giggle at his mothers. Like a tiny thank you for bringing him into the world they shared.

Toddling about around so many family members, Saturn had been quite happy. The world held no worries for him- and he spent his time surrounded by love, days spent cuddled up to his Mother while she painted, and nights climbing on his Momma to ask her about the stars. He didn’t think he could want anything more than that. The sound of winter birds always seemed to make his Mother’s paintings even more special, somehow, like they were singing a song just for her painting- and it inspired Saturn. Listening to their songs, the little kitten began to hum them back- trying his best to match their tunes, so that he could hum them to his family when the birds were silent. He seemed quite proud of his work- often cutting himself off to giggle in excitement.

Uncle Apollo had always been around, and he adored him, too. His Momma’s brother was always fun to be around, playing with the kittens like a constant beacon of light. Saturn spent a lot of time with him, chasing him about to ask him to play games with him. After all, his Mother liked her time alone, and he was sure his Momma needed a break, too! This… Made it all the more hard, when Apollo decided to leave. Saturn’s eyebrows had knitted, confusion adorning his face as he watched one of his constants leave for the Tribes. How would he be able to show his Uncle his songs now? Who would play with him? Well, of course he still had plenty of cats around him, his parents and his siblings, but it wouldn’t be the same.

Saturn continued to work on his music, his humming slowly turning into actual song as he worked out the words. It had a long way to go, of course, as the winter bled into spring- but his Mother’s stories and paintings given melody were a good start. He’d taken to painting with her, too- and his own paintings had their own stories, which meant their own songs. Many were unfinished, of course, he was just a kitten, and it was hard to hold his attention long enough to finish a small painting, let alone a story or a song. Something that did keep drawing his attention back, however, was the idea of the tribes. Where his Uncle Apollo had gone.

Nearly 6 moons had passed since the birth of Saturn and his siblings, and by the sounds, many of them had had the same idea. Saturn’s paws had always been restless, and he itched to move, to follow Apollo to the tribes. When his Mother had agreed to take them, Saturn had been overjoyed- jumping about in excitement. Not only would he get to see his Uncle again, but the stories of the tribes were so intriguing. There were so many adventures to be had, just over the horizon!

Approaching the totems with his family, Saturn had perked his ears, staring up at them with wide eyes. They were big, and the air there felt charged, smelled of ozone. With his Mother's encouragement, he followed the call up to one, his sister Neptune beside him. Breathing out, the little tom had touched his nose to the totem, felt the pressure of the air shift. Wind whipped through his fur, blowing it about wildly as static crackled along his skin, raising the fur there. Then, on the breeze, a name;

Venti.

White wings bloomed across his back and, bouncing around Neptune and then his Mother in excitement, he had looked towards where Air-Tribe lay. The next stop on his adventure.
