En Suisse, au Quebec... En tous cas, t'est pas faite pour la région parisienne visiblement ! Cela dit, les hommes suisses restent devant la tele comme les autres... Et même la plupart du temps devant vos grandioses (...) chaines françaises...

Isn't it wonderful to love where you live? I have lived in alot of places, and though I wouldn't have chosen the house or apartment or even the town, I tried to find the good around me...and now I have fond memories of each place.

I have the feeling american people tend to move a lot more than europeans within their borders... USA has such a huge territory with so many different landscapes... I've always lived in Geneva (pop: 400'000) and never got bored of it. I somtimes feel that Geneva is the world's capital with all the international organizations having their headquarters in it. I heard Geneva was the most cosmopolitan city in the world with 92 nationalities represented in the population. Two thirds of the total population are foreigners ! I speak spanish with my butcher and english with the indian owner of the growcery store in front of my building. Besides this, Geneva is surrounded with mountains and we have our wonderful lake ! We are definitly blessed !

I have lived near Washingotn D.C., near San Francisco, and in the middle of Texas! Certainly a variety of landscapes as well as climates...I think, too, that we in the US are spoiled. We have so much and our land is so sweet, so varied, so "new", yet we rarely protect what we have...we tend toward greed and so eat up whatever we can possess...
