The grand and very stoic Princess, Sunset Shimmer openly admits to crying after she heard each of her kids call her “mom” for the first time.

Nova's first words as a baby was "Ma". Sunset and Twi both occasionally bicker over which one of them she meant when she said it.
As for Dusk, it took him about a year after he was adopted into the family to finally start refering to the two princess as his moms. First time he said it was kindof a slip-of-the-tongue but he saw how happy it made the two of them and decided to stick with it.

Sunset is 100% a "cries happy tears over everything little thing" kinda mom here. Meanwhile Twi is more composed but she's more of the "extreme anxiety about her kid's safety whenever they're not within her immediate view" mom. Quietly panics deep inside. ya know... tHAT mom.
