Omg ! I actually really like when a kind soul heals me ! Cuz I'm internally panicking !! XD I also in the south Shroud saved this lil sprout from death, andthey sent me a tell saying "NICE CLUTCH HEAL!!! Omg !!" And I was like "no prob! I also struggled with that main quest so no worries" Β it was pretty great! Made a new friend that day!Β

I agree too, random healing in a time of need is a god send, but there are rare few times you just want to prove to yourself that you can do something amazing, but right when you are about to pull it off, someone tends to ruin it somehow and all the work you put into it is for nothing.

oh yeah I totally get you!!! Stormblood totally had me that way when it first released; it actually still does x( I had actually had an experience where I was in pvp as a Machinist, and this BLM almost GOT MEEEEE!! IΒ was like "Not today ! I will not give up!" and no heals nearbyΒ I took them down with like 200HP on me! Oh i still shake when I think about it!! X'D

FFXIV is actually my first online game ! And it's just some asking for help when you find nice people and learning lil by lil! We learn from mistakes so don't get disheartened if you meet some mean peeps!

Ever since SB, I've wanted to solo the MSQ and people jump in and "save" me when I didn't need or want it, so what I usually do is put away my weapon and watch them take enmity and nearly get themselves killed, strangely enough they still bow to me before leaving like they thought of themselves as some sort of knight in shining armor or something like that.
Heals I can handle because it's not interfering as much but jumping in for no reason is not something I like because it's the principal of progressing and rewarding experience.
