Just some advice for the Churchill Mk I (if you don't need it then disregard this comment). Get the top 6 pounder and stick with it until you get the Vickers HV. After that, you can take your pick as to whether you like penetration and moderate fire-rate with the Vickers HV or average penetration and high fire-rate with the top 6 pounder. Ideally don't use the first 75 mm simply due to it's garbage penetration versus the you average enemies that you will face.

thanks thats good advice but fortunately i already have everything for this tank else i might have raged it earlier, still finding versing KV-1s a challenge to keep this tank

Generally don't go head-to-head (because a KV-1 will best the Churchill Mk I 9/10 times). Take advantage of back-up (sadly rare in random games) and stay behind friendly KV-1s or T1 Heavies. The turret is your weakest point and you should turn you gun slightly away when face-to-face with enemies to make it a bit more difficult to penetrate.
