TRACK NAME: BLUE SCARAB UNITS

Hey guys and gals! Today we have a battle of teenagers who bond with alien symboites that can adapt to certain situations and use them to protect their worlds from evil organizations. We have Jaime Reyes, the Third Blue Beetle, duking it out with Sho Fukamachi AKA Guyver. We have two combatants and many outcomes, but only one will be chosen.

Who would win?

BLUE BEETLE(Jaime Reyes)

A long, long time ago, a race of cosmic marauders known as the Reach made bio-armor that acted as a hivemind. Upon being defeated by the Green Lantern Corps, they were forced to a truce, but they secretly sent infiltrator units across the universe. One of these units landed on Earth, damaged, during the times of the pharaoh and it was found by Dan Garret, who passed it on to Ted Kord for safety before it ended up El Paso, Texas, where it was found and picked up by a teenager named Jaime Reyes. Later on at night, the Scarab attached itself to Jaime's back, but as it's no longer part of the hivemind, Jaime retained control over his body and with that, he became the Blue Beetle.

The Scarab known as Khaji Da is an independent AI that can act on its own, offering Jaime resistance against telepathic attacks, hacking computers and even making Tachyons that can disrupt time travel. When bonded with Jaime, they become an effective duo, given super strength, speed, a healing factor, flight, protection against the environment and energy absorption that can feed on Livewire's energy and that of a planet destroying weapon. He can translate, sense other people and use a variety of weapons, both offensive and defensive. For offense, he has extendable claws, can turn his hands into melee weapons like bladed weapons or drills, use plasma cannons, cryo-blasters, nukes, neural scramblers or even use weapons capable of destroying planets. As for defense, there bubble shields for himself or others, a forcefield that not even Flash can vibrate through and create countermeasures against any opponent, even producing Kryptonite radiation for Kryptonians!

He's not perfect though, for Jaime is somewhat inexperienced and the Scarab can be deactivated by magic. It also cannot interface with technology from Apokolips or New Genesis and it can also be hard to control at times. They still make a powerful duo though.

GUYVER

17-year old Sho Fukamachi was your average teenage boy who was a second-year student at Nariwasa High School and did take part in the Sci-Fi Club. Such was life until he came across a biomechanical item that attached itself to him upon activating. This so happened to be one of three Guyver Units of unknown origins and it is sought after by the Chronos Corporation for their selfish desires. At first, Sho was terrified of the Guyver, but soon came to protect it and use it to protect his friends while fighting against the corporation and Zoaloids.

The Guyver enhances the wearer's body, giving Sho enhanced strength, speed, strong armor and tons of abilities and weapons. It protects the host from environments that can kill anybody and can channel gravitational energy through the body to boost momentum by a factor of 10x. It can repair any part of itself or its host so fast that it was able to regenerate from a few molecular cells attached to the Control Medal, which by the way regulates the energy flow between the organism and the host. It's Vibration Globes can produce destructive soundwaves known as Sonic Buster, the Mega-Smashers fire a high energy particle beam able to deliver more than 100 megawatts and it can shoot lasers with the Head Beam. Sho also uses high-frequency blades that can cut through almost any material as it weakens their molecular bonds and uses his hands to shoot a ball of gravity that serves as a black hole.

That's not all, though, for Sho can transform into the Guyver Gigantic, which improves all of its weapons and has some new ones as well, like Energy Amps that produce an omni-directional forcefield and the high-powered Gravity Knuckle. His most powerful form happens to be the Gigantic Exceed, which allows him to use all of his weapons and can fire the Gravity Implosion, a black hole sucks up all matter and energy with no trace.

It's not without its flaws, 'cause the Guyver is vulnerable to the acid of Enzine-Type Zoaloids, a unit remover can force it into an inactive state and the Gravity Implosion takes time to load, giving the opponent enough time to do whatever they want. Also, should the Control Medal be damaged, the organism can indeed eat it host. Just because the Guyver is flawed doesn't mean that its weak so watch out!

Ok, now this may be tricky. Both the Blue Beetle and the Guyver can adapt and counter many of the weapons that they can shoot at each other. Both are resistant to telepathic attacks and can heal really fast so who would win in such a tough battle? Well, perhaps the Guyver overwhelms the Beetle in physical stats like strength and speed while possessing weapons that can suck matter and energy. Here's the but though, I think Blue Beetle has chance to win as well.

Say what you will, I just researched on Guyver biographies found on Deviant Art and the Death Battle fan wiki so I may get something wrong here. The thing is that Khaji Da can only be deactivated by magic, but I cannot see Guyver being able to do that and it has weaknesses that the scarab can find and exploit. the Mega-Smasher or Giga-Smasher need time to charge, giving Jaime enough time to attack and its regeneration gets weaker the more energy Sho uses. Blue Beetle can counter nearly any opponent, even Superman, and at one point, the Scarab knew how to permanently kill the Bottom Feeder, a being literally cursed to never die. Given this info in mind, its safe to say that Blue Beetle will be able to hold his own long enough to wear down the opponent and kill both Sho and the Guyver.

For this battle, I believe the win goes to the Blue Beetle.
