BLUE BEETLE vs GUYVER
Hey guys and gals! Mr.O here with the cover for Blue Beetle vs Guyver. Not exactly on my top 10, but I would like to see Jaime Reyes take on his opponent in Death Battle so here I go. Here's my cover for the battle:
First and foremost, I started off by drawing Khaji Da, the scarab that is attached to Jaime's back and gives him his powers. Inside the scarab lies the Control Medal, which regulates the flow of energy between the host and the organism. On the beetle's legs, there are several orbs belonging to Guyver Gigantic, one of Sho's super forms, and on both sides of the scarab, there's Sonic Swords capable of weakening bonds between solid objects. I thought the drawing wasn't big enough so I added in blue energy blasts.
It's no surprise that the words Blue Scarab refer to the DC hero's name and the titular object from which he gets his name while Unit refers to the Guyver Units designed as an all-purpose protective suit.
