Hey guys and gals! Mr.O here with what may be the first female entry for Hall of Chibi 2.0! So far, all my previous entries have been male so I needed to bring women into this so why not start with the creator of the webcomic Lumberjanes and the Netflix show called She-Ra and The Princesses of Power, Noelle Stevenson!
Let's see what her story!
----
Born in December 31, 1991, Noelle Stevenson attended the Maryland Institute College of Art, where she created the character Nimona during her junior year. I say she scored that class assignment! It was sometime during a summer in 2012 that she started to make a webcomic featuring this character and this story's title is...you guessed it, Nimona! It's about a supervillain's sidekick. This earned her several awards!
After working as a writer for the Thor annual and Runaways comics of Marvel, Stevenson wrote for the TV animated series Wander Over Yonder and the DreamWorks series She-Ra and The Princesses of Power, a deep and diverse take on the classic She-Ra story.
Gotta say that show is a hit and tons of people loved it, including yours truly! Well, besides that, she worked on a book called To Be Or Not To Be alongside Ryan North and published a collection of drawings named The Fire Never Goes Out.
----
That's all I got on Noelle Stevenson. She's truly done some amazing works and people everywhere enjoy them. I personally like the She-Ra adaptation she did and that's just from watching the first season!
That is all from me, Mr.O and for the honor of Grayskull!
