Hey guys and gals! Mr.O back here with some more SMG4 fan art and this has been inspired by the latest episode, SMG4: Mario's Mask of Madness. Truth be told, this has been an idea or theory that has been in my mind long before this episode came to be.
Spoiler alert!
On this episode, Mario tried on the mask, but did nothing to him while it possessed Luigi, Axol and Meggy. This brought the theory back to the forefront of mind so here's the question: What if Mario himself was already a mask? Imagine this, Mario being a mask ALL THIS TIME IN THE SHOW!
In other words, what if Mario is actually a mask of unknown origins that happens to possess an unknown and unfortunate individual? A brilliant, yet ordinary human who is possessed by this mask that calls itself Mario. While the Mask is a retarded asshole who's often in control and has a lot of power, this host could be nice and clever if not a bit of an ass at times.
I admit that there's little proof, but hey, this can work as a what if scenario. An alternate universe if you will.
