We donβt know everyoneβs Β OCs. Β At first, his name was Wapiti (elk) but since I find the caribou more nothern, I decided to call him Caribou.

And Caribou is a very common name.... Just like Avalanche, Frosting, Frost, Snowball- etc..

Well, do you have a picture of them? Cause if they dont have a ref its highly unlikely there is anyway this person could have known and they probably did the design out of their head and its a huge coincidence? I've had something like tht happen with a friend's OC looking very similar to another but it was proved different / the person never saw her OC before
