ACCESS DENIED pg 1

My feet pattered on the cement, my eyes wide as they followed slowly. I hit the door hard and pressed my hand to the scanner. The light scanned my hand and my heart stopped ACCESS DENIED  read on the screen and i put my head against the door, letting out a shaky, scared laugh "shit..." I muttered. The lights were dim and I managed to turn halfway before the bullets entered my body.

I walked down the hall, staring strait ahead as people laughed quietly. As i got to my locker, i fumbled with the lock and managed to open it. As i grabbed my bag and threw it over my shoulder, something hit the back of my neck. i turned and saw Elaina laughing, as  soon as i did, i pulled my hand up  and stuck my middle finger up. She laughed and i closed my locker and walked out of the school. I saw a group of boys and walked faster "hey! its her! were you going?!" they yelled and i pulled my arm away as one of them grabbed it. "don't touch me..." i said and he laughed. I took a step back and hit someone, cursing. they grabbed my arm again and i spun around, curling my hand into a fist and hitting him in the face. he stumbled back and i pulled my  bag up again "told you not to touch me asshole" i said and then walked to my truck. I threw my bag in the passenger side and put the key in. The engine roared as i pressed my foot down but i jerked to a stop as a different car rolled by. The person  smirked at me, there brown hair covering there eyes. I held up my middle finger again and then pulled out, driving home.

As i pulled into my driveway, i let out a sigh and parked outside my house. I stepped out and Alue barked, jumping up and licking my face. I smiled at the Wolf and she wagged her tail. I walked to the door and she ran in as i opened the door, throwing my bag into the corner and putting my jacket away. Alue barked again and i jumped onto the couch quickly. her blue and green eyes sparkled, the same colour as mine, just opposite. My hand drifted threw her red fur and she let out a rumble, a sort of wolf purr. letting out a laugh, i searched for the remote and found it, turning on the TV.

Alue was asleep on the couch and i looked up as someone knocked on the door. I got up, wearing some long sweatpants and a white long-sleeved pull over. As i opened the door, i looked around "hello?" I asked. It was quiet for  a moment, and i gasped as someone grabbed my arm and pulled it up behind me, up till my neck. They did the same to the other and i struggled "What the fuck?! Let me go!" I yelled and someone laughed, walking forward. "hello you little slut..." they said and i froze, my heart fluttering like a scared canary. He grinned and i clenched my jaw as they drew there finger along my lip. I lashed out, my teeth clamping on there finger. They cursed and slapped my face, my head dropping "stupid little bi-!" the sound of a gun exploded and he fell back as a bullet hit the post beside his head. They let go of my arms as another one flew past there heads and i dropped to the ground, covering my neck. The wood splintered and groaned, collapsing. The three boys ran and jumped into their truck, driving off. I waited for another bullet, but none came. I got up slowly and walked inside, shutting the door and collapsing. Alue whined and ran toward me, nuzzling my neck. I looked out the window, staring at the trees. A flash of yellow glinted high up, but i knew it was eyes. They watched me for a moment and then walked into the dense forest. I curled up its like jake all over again ... i thought.  Crawling upstairs, i curled up on my bed and stared at the wall. Tears beading down my cheeks.

My phone went off and i reached for it, pulling it to my ear "hello?" i muttered and sat up "WERE ARE YOU?!" they screamed and i looked at the time "Crap! ill be there in like, 20 minutes!" i yelled and hung up. I got into my Aspen diner  shirt and some blue pants, running downstairs and getting some shoes on and booking it out the door. My hair was hanging limply and i pulled out a small brush i had  in my truck and dragged it threw my hair. Speeding down my driveway, i made it to Aspen Diner in about 15 minutes. I parked the car and ran threw the backdoor, getting my apron on and grabbing a note pad and pen, going to the kitchen quickly. Kate looked at me and i raised my eyebrows in concern "im so sorry, i had a bad day yesterday, i fell asleep at 3:00" i said and she sighed, pointing to my area "Fine, just go, by the way, you got a guy who asked to be in your area. and your closing tonight" she said and i nodded, running out. As i went to the table, i pulled my note pad up "Hi,  i'm Skeeter, ill be your waitress for the evening" i said, keeping my eyes locked on him. He chuckled quietly and i held the pen tighter "What can i get you to drink?" i asked and he smiled "Some coke please" he said, his voice quiet, yet i heard the humour in his words. I went to the kitchen again and got a glass, pushing the coke button after putting some ice in. I walked back to the table and he looked up, causing me to stop,  nearly dropping the glass. His eyes watched me, a bright yellow, like nothing i'd even seen before. He clenched his hand "something wrong?" he asked, his voice tense. I shook my head and looked down, walking over and placing the glass on the table "no... sorry..." i muttered and stood taller, looking at him, but shaking my head to clear it as his eyes caught mine again "Have you made a decision?" i asked and he smiled "yeah, can i have the turkey sandwich" he asked and i nodded "soup or salad?" i asked.
"salad"
"What type of dressing would you like, we have caesar, ranch, dill or lemon"
"Ranch please"
"Ok, i will be back with your order soon"
Walking to the kitchen and placing the order, i walked to the back and sat down, staring at the table. His eyes.... they were so yellow... like the ones outside my house...

As i grabbed his plate, i walked back and set it down, turning to walk off "your very pretty you know, i don't know why you don't smile" he said suddenly and i stopped. my hair fell in my face and i took a deep breath, turning and putting my finger on the table, his drink shaking "Listen here, i don't know who the hell you are, so here's what i want, Im gonna get you what you want, your gonna leave, and not stalk me" i said. His eyes were calm and he grinned again "Why you so tense?" he said and i pushed myself up and away. He laughed and i walked over to a little old lady  sitting in the booth next to The boys. She looked at me and i smiled, nodding "Hi, im Skeeter, ill be your waitress  for the evening" i said and she smiled "oh aren't you pretty" she said and i smiled "thanks" i said back and i heard the boy laugh "oh, you take it from a old lady..." he muttered and i glared at him.

I wiped down the counter and heard the door open "Im sorry, were closed" I said and looked up. Three shadows walked forward and I gasped. There hand grabbed mine and they pinned me to the counter top. there eyes were wild and full of anger "no body else around buddy, just me and you..." he said and i stretched my neck out as he pressed his lips to the hollow of my neck. I closed my eyes and tried to  kick but he pinned my legs. the door opened again and he was yanked off me. I jumped away and slid over the counter, grabbing a knife from the kitchen and holding it up. The boy from before towered over the other one "Get your filthy hands off her, I don't think she wants to get fucked here" he said. the other boy stepped back then glanced at me, turning and running out the door. I held the handle tighter as he turned and looked at me "hey, calm down" He said, holding his hands up "I just need to use the phone, mines dead" he said and i stared at him. He walked slowly around the corner, hands still up and stood in the doorway. I put the knife down slowly and looked at him "t-thanks...." i muttered and he smiled "No problem" he said and i pointed at the phone "take all the time you need, but i have to lock up..." i said and he nodded. I locked the front door and sighed, wipeing down the counter again and i heard him say something quickly and then he hung up "Ok, thanks" he said and i nodded, throwing the cloth into the sink and taking my apron off, putting it in my locker. I opened the door and he walked out. I followed him in silence and locked the door, turning. His yellow eyes gleamed in the light, clear and bright, like liquid gold. he looked down at me and I let out a small smile "thanks again..." i said and he shrugged. "its ok" he said and i went to walk to my car but stopped. "come on... no fucking way..." i muttered. The wheels were slashed and i walked toward it, dragging my hands along the slash marks. His voice came from right behind me and i tensed "i could give you a ride home" he said and i stood, turning. his face was iluminated in the street lights and i nodded quickly "ok, thanks" i said and he smiled, walking to a black truck, like mine but bigger. He opened the passanger door and i got in, closing the door and doing up my seatbelt. He got in too and turned the car on, pulling out of the parking lot. I looked at him and he smiled "So Skeeter, were do you live?" he asked and i looked at the road "Up Scott mountain, only house..." i said and he nodded. "Ok, by the way, names Spencer, Spencer Coals"  he said and i nodded back "Hi Spencer... im Skeeter Woodrow..." i muttered and he chuckled.

He parked in my driveway and as i got out, he did too. Alue barked from her kennel and i gasped as she tackled him, teeth bared. He fell onto the ground and stared at her, his eyes wide. She snarled as i pulled her off, wrapping my arms around her neck "im so sorry! shes never like this!" i exclaimed and she growled again. He sat up and then knelt infront of her, holding his hand out to her "its ok, animals never like me at first..." he said and Alue growled again but sniffed his hand. He rubbed his fingers threw the fur on her chin and she let out a rumble, pressing her face to his hand suddenly. I raised my eyebrows "huh..." i muttered and then looked at him "so what school do you go to?" i asked and he looked at me. "I go to the Lakeview  College" he said and i nodded "same" i said and he smiled, standing up. "You dont have a ride for tomorrow, do you want me to pick you up?" he asked and i smiled slightly again "Ok, thanks" i said and alue barked, sitting beside Spencer. He smiled and rubbed her head "Sweet wolf, whats her name?" he asked and i smiled "alue, shes been with me my whole life..." i said and he nodded. She wagged her tail and he smiled again. As i walked to the door, he followed me and alue walked in behind me. I turned and smiled fully now "thank you, ill see you tomorrow" I said and i froze as he leaned closed, pointing at his cheek "dont i get a thank you kiss?" he said and i blushed "NO!" i yelled and closed the door, locking it. i pressed my back to the door, my cheeks red as he laughed and walked to his car, driving off.

ACCESS DENIED pg 1
