once upon a time, xan managed to get over his fear of leaving azriel's side and unknown places and actually went to the store
upon his return, he noticed a little yellow fellow following behind him
no matter what he did, this fuzzy little friend would just not leave him alone
so he had no choice but to take him home
azriel was not thrilled, but he let xan keep the duck anyway under the condition
that xan had to care for the duck himself
(of course, that meant that xan would fill the bathtub with water and stick the little guy in there)
needless to say, in the end it was really azriel who ended up caring for the duckling
