Chosen by the Enlightened, Agatha came to Varlund with her holy knights to lead the kingdom in the teachings of the church to rid the lands of it's ills

There is a sitting king and royal family, but shortly after the arrival of the holy order the church won over the favor of the people and largely holds power over the kingdom.

Agatha has led the church for what seems a lifetime but her divine right seems to leave her unaging.

The Archbishops of the church are of the most powerful members of the clergy just below the Cardinals. These branded devotees protect the inner circle and lend themselves to protecting Agatha and the inner sanctums.
