no offense, but i don't personally care for this one. i think you could have done some more with the fractal itself. yes, what you have is ok for a start but

Also. I do believe that in this piece the emptiness and 'loneliness' are very important elements.

I have a cool name for this! Seahorse Phantom, seriously... That's what it looks like from far away. It also looks like several other things like a gun and some feathers, rusting metal, vines, veins and arteries.

Well basically, I made one flame with apophysis
And rendered it. Then I changed some linear functions and saved them again.
And then put everything together in photoshop.
And also really spent alot of time in the colours! and background.
