final fantasy x <3 i know lots of people don't like tidus but i actually do hehe so i am rooting for him, tho i expect him to be a bit #messy but . . . aren't we all at heart

A new Video Game Wars season? AND a Blood vs Water one? SWEET!
Fun fact: I decided not to look at the roster list to see how many I could guess but the only ones I could recognise is Cyrus, Reese and Tidus. >__<
Anyway, here are my thoughts on the cast:
Carl & Kendl: From what I could tell, Kendl seems like the pragmatic, strategic type. But she is also seems bossy so she and Carl could either be an overpowering sibling team or a trainwreck, depending on how Carl acts in the game.
Cyrus & Reese: They seem like the Sickening Sweethearts who gets haughty whenever they think their respective partner is being hit on by another contestant.
Dina & Nina: I can't say much about the sibling dynamicΒ but Dina seems like a... Gold digger.Β Maybe they would be the surprise villain pair?
Henry & Ribeena: Somewhat reminds me of Carl & Kendl. Only Ribeena is far more bossy and negative, literally dragging Henry to do what she wants.
Jecht & Tidus: Hoo boy... These two could be the breakout characters of the season or one big trainwreck. I don't need to look up anything about them to do that.
Jin & Lao: Interesting. A hot-headed hot man and his cool-headed and collected deceased uncle. This has potential for a lot of story between the two. I also think Lao may be the only person that could make Jin cool off.
Nana & Newton: A nice-hearted old lady who has love for her twisted, cowardly and villainous son? Oh, man, these two are so the comic relief of this season!
Sam & Sarah: I think Sam would put his experience as an assassinΒ to go use and be a strong strategic force in this game. And who knows? Maybe Sarah would either act as a Morality Pet or be a huge strategic force too.

I think it's great that you're not going in with any expectations. That way, I know you won't be disappointed from the get-go if a character is written all wrong.

ngl I clearly struggled with Tidus's pic. I usually use actual pictures of people and trace over them to save time, but I couldn't find anyone Tidus-y enough.

Yep. The animals/robotic/other characters are typically hand-drawn because I can never find a good picture to trace. I could do that for all of them, but I just don't have the time.Β Β
Besides, they'd all probably end up looking the same, too. Haha.
