2 weeks ago a friend of mine recomend the underfell (a dark version of undertale) fic "overgrowth" where frisk get a new flower on their body each time they die. Its a very beautiful and heartbreaking fic.
(and its NOT a ship fic either. But there is a strong bond between underfell sans and frisk in this one.)

Well, I mean, it CAN be taken as a ship fic
But it's left a bit more open to let people of different ships and mindsets enjoy equally
For example, the creator of the AU has stated that Frisk IS of legal consent age in it, with Sans being relatively close in the same age group, it's just that Monsters are REALLY freaking tall.
(Personally, I don't really ship "FriskyFont" as I've seen it called. Β I'll look at it if it's cute looking, but it's not a major ship of mine. Β EXCEPT for Flowerfell, 'cause it hits me right in the feels and oh my god I can't)
