Hi guys, I know it has been a while since I've created anything new - but I have managed to sneak in some time to finally complete a piece! Considering I mostly work with charcoal and graphite, I wanted to practice more with paints and colours. I think I will be doing more colourful pieces in the near future, especially because I will have lots of free time soon due to school ending!
The girl in the photo was based on a picture of Ana Beatriz Barros - I changed up a few things to add my own touch and just used her image to get an overall feel of the dreamy look that she had. Lately I have been daydreaming alot so I suppose I was inspired to create a dreamy piece

this just came out stuning, one suggestion i would say is to study some anatomy books, somthing i picked up and helped me tons, other then that, ur work with realisim is stunning

I envy you! This is amazing Julia! The colors.. The detail.. Just perfect. The concept of daydreaming is so present in this. The butterfly symbolizes the mind just floating around and the way shes staring really enforces what you wanted to get out of it. Such talent. Kind of looks like you. hehe. Have a great summer.

This is STUNNING!What a lovely picture Julia.. well done.. I love her skin tone and the way you blend everything and make it soo textured and yummy.. The butterfly was a nice touch
