Description I once was a man in a wreck, with a horribly mangled dry neck.
With dignity and poise I got up from said noise
and denied death's invite for tea.

Now you might laugh that it's really that simple,
to pop death like merely a pimple!
But take a seat and i'll dictate a feat,
and explain why I am on this table.

Now on a sunny afternoon (In a wonderful June) I had taken to seeing the country.
I drove through the leaves and the mulberry trees until it had grown dark.
Needless to say I had a crash that day and met death himself.

There is no need of story, of what happened when I crashed.
The point here is that I was dead as my beer
and left my poor body to (similarly) ferment.

Then I saw not a great light, but a little green glow
where a skeleton met me, white as the snow!
I said "Sir, you look white as a sheet and cold as the snow!
I see you have tea, but you have no cookies and i must go!"

He looked visibly disturbed (as much as a skeleton can)
and as I left without failure, I imagine he tanned.
He was found no fail in my logic and was stunned by my gall
the first who dared just walk out of his hall.

I have been tested by scientists and travelers alike
trying to find the secrets of life.
I laugh as they kill me and i see yet again
that (now orange-ish) little skeleton man.

This time is different, oh they will see
for each time I come back...
I bring more death back with me!

I like that it's morbid because of the topic but cute because of the rhymes. Nice contrast
