Eiich, this one took longer than expected, but I hope the end result is worth it.
Basic premise of this game is to make and care for whatever monster you make in the egg machine.
I don't want to explain too much, half the fun is in the exploration.
Feel free to download and distribute this game as long as you do not edit it. ^^

~~ Some basic controls to start you off: ~~
Pink egg button: Make creature.
Blue egg button: Turn creature into egg.
Anywhere on screen: Creature moves towards that point.
You can also press the smiley face / mouth icons in the top right hand corner to disable the hunger/happiness bars and just muck around.
EDITS:
* Added a Preloader.
* Fixed a bug where the egg-machine reset under certain conditions.

If you don't block them off by clicking the hunger/happiness icons. You can make it happier by pressing it and feed it boots/pears etc to increase food levels.

It's not too hard at all. But the complexity depends on what kind of game you want to make.
If you have Flash I suggest looking out for some beginner tutorials out there.

Fantastic and super-fun piece of coding work Neil, congratulations!! I can't sotp playign this! XD I love making all those cute, quirky or just plain creepy-lookin' creatures.
I LOVE the anumaused spectacles the best. XD
And my favourite thing to do is make him jump up and down all day long! ^0^
All the little details like the feeding mixed with the happiness/health bar is a great and clever touch, adds a small challenge amongst the fun. But for those just wanting to play, including the ability to turn off that option is a really good idea.
