Couple weeks ago, my cartooning teacher assigned our class to recreate "Beauty and the Beast" in our own style. Well, I'm just about done with mine and though it's a small photograph ('cause I had no time for scanning), it's pretty huge. I decided to base the story in Nigeria because that was where I was when I first heard of the story, or the movie, or whatever! I'm trying to prove that this story isn't known to only America or Europe. I used color pencils for this one and it took forever! You are, literally, looking at my BLOOD, my SWEAT and my TEARS right now. Hope you like it. I'll try and do a proper scanning when I next have the chance.
