Description Ok. Here's another one. I like the water in this one.

If anyone has any criticism I'd like to hear it.

Ive never used Terragen, so I really cant find any faults in it. I think its rather placid and dreamlike. I like.

Well.. i could give you the outdated 3dsmax v3 or v4 iso's but i don't have anywhere to upload them :/ And they are 300-400mb anyway...

Nah. I don't mind blender. I prefer Cinema 4D anyway.

That is a beautiful and stunning scenery... The blue fog you added to the terrain makes it look realistic, the water is very good too, but you should add a better texture to the sky and have the waves a bit softened at the edges.

Yeah, it's true. I may transfer the mesh into blender so I can texture it myself and add my own water.

Blender... why blender when you can use the wonderful 3DSMAX!

Well a steady income would help a great deal. Unless of course you wanna buy it for me.

I'm 16 without a job. I figure Blender is a good thing to learn to do 3d animation and whatnot.

Heh, i'm 16 without a job too Its not like i would pay thousands of bucks for it, you can do like me and get an *erhm* pirated copy...

Yeah... I had a pirated copy of Cinema 4D that I THOUGHT I burned to CD before I reformatted but NOOOOO! So here I am without a decent animation program and no way to download pirated software.

This isn't really a comment as much as a suggestion. Do you have photoshop? If you do, go under contrast and type in +20. Then go into saturation and type in +20. The image is wonderful. It just seems a bit flat and I think that would really add a lot more impact to it. The water is outstanding! Makes me want to go for a swim.

I think I understand what your trying to get. Do you just want less of a dull mist? 'Cause I could just render it with a less fog.

Yeah, the waves look a bit....well, flat. It's a nice scene, but I think the waves detract from it.

I'll assume you mean the waves in the open part of the sea. I agree, and I intend to work on the eventually. Thanks for your input.

Actually, I was referring to the waves along the shoreline that I'm assuming you used WaterWorks to render; they don't look quite right to me.

Ah... In that case, do you have any suggestions?

Spifficus Maximus.

As with any terragen scene, the place between levels (sky, earth, sea) isn't fluid. Maybe try using a blur tool in photoshop...

The waves look like they could be pretty cool, but the seem to have come out like a ring around the bathtub.

I've never really been bothered by the transition of earth to sky. I admit the transition of sea to earth is rather rough but I think that's because the rendering itself is kind of pixelated. I've sort of gotten used to it.

Ring around the bathtub? Isn't that a childrens song?
