such a lovely photo of her! saw them in Sept and it was just wonderful. too bad you weren't there for that one. you could have gotten photo's of Shirley shaving Jen's head on stage. such a priceless moment!

Jen is a girl on the Garbage boards who had recently had a lumpectomy. Shirley and the band know all about it and as Jen was starting chemo, she was going to start loosing her hair. being a HUGE fan, she smuggled in a shaver and a sign asking Shirley to shave her head. it was funny to listen to Shirley say that it was sad that they knew all their "fucking fans names". but it was a wonderful show. played longer than they planned because Shirley didn't want to stop and she kept picking songs that they couldn't quite remember how to play or the words. it was really charming. really.

and Duke gave me a big 'ol hug!

thanks mark .. i tried to get vnv nation too.. sucks that the lighting wasnt too great.. god u shoulda seen the conditions for Team Sleep when they played at the arena. it's so sad when that happens...
