It started out as just an exploration of her elastic body's capabilities, and some of it turned out to be fun. Now Viva tries a lot of things to prepare herself for whatever a badguy might do to her, since she's sorta entered the superhero business.

Well, a little more than just that -- she has an engineering degree but took over the family machine shop business. It specializes in pretty sophisticated stuff. Viva has always been mechanically inclined.
