So, often before I work on a project, I like to practice the character's expressions to get the hang of things. Well, I'm not actually doing a comic of anything, just a fanfic. And I thought it would fun to draw the little guy. It was really an experience, since his face is shaped so differently from all other characters I do, but I enjoyed it.

Awesome! I was actually practicing with Hiccup's facial expressions too. But these look great! Love the shadowing, it's subtle, simple, but it shows dimension.
