this is a drawing of my friend jay aka sa55ytaken from a photograph i took of her on muck up day, she was blowing bubbles. whilst drawing her i tried to adapt a subtle schiele stylisation but it's probably not very obvious. thus the picture doesn't look like a mirror image of her. but i tried to capture her expression and character in a simple way. finished in photoshop

Wow, that looks amazing, I love simple stuff with no shading but with black outlines - thats how I was brought up to draw. Very hip, like an ad in The Face for shoes or, um, asian girls. Yeah, even though it's not a mirror image of J' as you said, it still captures her character really well. Her J'-ness, if you will.

Hey dis is great! wow this is relaly good!! I love the bubbles to da max!! I like it how you used 'cell style' type colouring wid flat areas of colour and highlights. I think my face is a 'lil' fatter dan dat tho aHaHaHA but yeh wow u are always getting better!! You shud do more pics like dis I will put dis in my favs!!!
