Description
“I want to marry you when we grow up.” She says, pressing her body against him tightly before letting him go. There are tears in her eyes, but she presses them back with a smile.
“So please do not forget me.”

Nagisa wakes up from his pleasant dreams to the buzzing of students as chairs and tables are shifted around for lunch. He stretches, and looks over at [name], who was speaking with another guy classmate. He says something to her and she giggles. Inside, he can feel a warm feeling rising up in his stomach and gradually reaching his chest. He bites back the urge to growl aggressively.
“[name]-chan~” He says with a care free smile as he envelops [name] in a bone-crushing hug. [name] laughs and greets him back. “Ne, don’t you think its time for lunch?”
”Sure!” She says with a dazzling smile, “Yamamoto-san, would you like to join us for lunch too?” Your dark hair classmate nodded happily he meets the eyes of your childhood friend, whose eyes are narrowed to a glare. It is unnerving, to have the usually cheerful Nagisa glower at him.
“I-I think I should-”
“I’m hungry, let’s go!” Nagisa says, reaching to her hand and pulling her along. Giggling, she follows along with his lead. The guy classmate gave a reluctant smile and follows them, still feeling a little unnerved by what he sees as aggression from his usually cheerful classmate.
Nothing unusual happens during lunch; that is what [name] thought. Nagisa shares his strange observations of the teacher and they share jokes together. She does not realize that she is the only one enjoying their much-deserved lunch break. Nagisa is silently plotting against his classmate. His smile grows wider as he realizes that Yamamoto is growing in discomfort.
“Ahh, Yamamoto-san, are you okay? You don’t look very well.” [name] creases her eyebrows in worry. Said boy shakes his head, trying to hide his worry from his oblivious friend.
“I guess I’m just tired. Excuse me.” He says with a bow and a nod at Nagisa before leaving. [name] frowns.
“I wonder what’s wrong with him.” She says, before sipping on her juice and looking at the stairway. She can hear his friend shrugging. She assumes that he is not interested in his exaggerated reaction, which was strange. Her childhood friend was usually curious about everything. His sudden change in attitude, she had thought, would warrant questions from the Nagisa she knew. He did not smile, but his lips curved upward, eyes darkened.
“This is not the end yet, Yamamoto-kun.” He thinks as his smile widens, “You will pay for trying to steal [name]-chan away from me.”

“You should probably back off away from [name]-chan,” Nagisa says, pacing back and forth. All the while, he has a bright smile on his face, sending chills down Yamamoto’s spine.
Is this the real Nagisa Hazuki?
“After all, I don’t know what I will do if I get mad.”
***
“I guess it was all wishful thinking on my part.” She laughed dryly, feeling tears cloud her eyes.
Since that day, Yamamoto had avoided her. She was a little more than hurt. She had a little crush on him, and she had thought that he had felt the same way. She had knew that she did not mean much to him when Nagisa tells her that Yamamoto was seen with another girl during the weekends.
Laughing.
Having Fun.
Without her.
She tried to hide her feelings. With a half-hearted smile and defeated eyes, she had joked that it meant she had more time with her books. She had thought it was enough to convince her pink-eyed friend. After class, she had stayed behind, taking her time to pack her things and collect her thoughts.
He had stayed back after swim practice and found her there, lost in her thoughts. Nagisa was getting irritated. It has been a week and he thought that she would have gotten over it by now, but no. She still cared.
“Even when I’m supposed to be the one monopolizing [name]-chan,” He thinks, his thoughts growing darker, “That stupid boy is still in her mind.”
[name] finds herself trapped under Nagisa’s well-framed body. It is disconcerting to have Nagisa stare down at her, his eyes a dark shade of magenta. “Stop thinking about that stupid boy. Have you forgotten about our promise?”
She whines. And it’s not just because he’s talking about something she does not understand. His tone is different, and his eyes are a darker shade of magenta. He is not the affectionate boy that she has grown to care for over the years There’s also the fact that she is pinned under Nagisa’s well-framed body. “D-Do you think that you could get off me? This is really making me-”
He kissed her, roughly, before she could end her sentence. She tries to push him away. In her eyes, he was just a childhood friend. But in his, she was so much more. When he knows that she has completely forgotten about their promise, his heart is taken over by rage and hurt.
“I have never forgotten about our promises.” He whispers in between rough kisses. He decorates her neck with purple bruises, wanting to mark her as his. “I've never forgotten about us. How can you be so cruel to me, [name]-chan.”
"How can you think about someone else other than me?"
“I love you,” Nagisa declares when he is satisfied. [name] was too weak to stand, too weak to do anything. So he buttons her uniform up for for her and wipes the tears rolling her down face. Nagisa takes cares of the things that belong to him after all. He pulls her into a tight hug, and she is too weak to push him away.
“That’s why I will never let you go.”
