Well I simply don't fine there voices pleasing together nothing you did just a matter of personal opinion. Different tones sound better to different people.
As for the twelve comment most of his models are so child like as in either really petite or bigger head smaller limbs which after anatomy class is hard to not see. Also a lot of people try and fix this by simply blowing up the model but that just makes it more odd because then they have have what looks like a blown up child dancing next to a more properly sized adult.
