2003, 56,5x61,5 cm. Black watercolour. 300g/m2 paperWet paper aquarell technique I would like to master in future. Sometimes it works.. sometimes don't. In this picture I had to leave face area more dry, that it would be more detailed. All other areas I prepared with lots of water and then started working on it to achieve the right feeling.

Pekka, just random browsing and came across this image. Beautiufl work! I really like the impression left by the way that you did the hair! Your use of negative space to create the patterns and to outline the face are pretty cool, also!
Sometimes, just letting things flow can have some great results, but in the end, it's the vision behind the image that makes it work!
