I know this is an ugly stamp... but I am bad at making them. My point being of course that Pit Bulls are just dogs too! The photo in the stamp is of a Pit from our shelter named Noel. When I first met her she was on top of the outside wire kennels (it was snowing and windy). She was shaking and her feet were bleeding. I ran inside to get a blanket and I went back ot and wrapped her up in it. Then I carried her inside to her kennel. She didn't try to bite me, or hurt me. When I got close to the kennel gate she would bark at me. I think that for some reason, being locked up is traumatizing to her. When she's out she jumps up and loves to get petted.She's not the only example though, I've seen tons of Pit Bulls come through my shelter and I've only been nipped once, because Marley (the one that nipped me) thought I had a treat in my hand. And even he was as sweet as can be.
It's just that I keep hearing more and more bull crap from people. People sayin "Oh those are bad dogs, they should be extinct" And these people have probably never even spent time with a pit bull in their entire lives.
I know you've all heard this before, but I didn't see a stamp that said it like this. So feel free to use it~ And thanks if you do!

i support all dog breeds to, i dont get whats the point of stereotyping dogs breeds like

they get a bad reputation because people don't know how to properly train their dogs, and then the news tends to blow everything out of proportion :C It's really sad that the pit bulls get so much hate, I've met a lot of them and they are sweet dogs, they just need to be cared for correctly

he is not vicious. like people expect rottweilers to be.

it's always something, rottweilers used to have a really bad rep too, and german shepherds, people always just want something to be afraid of I guess;

I totally agree with you. ALL DOGS, not just pits, react to how a person is feeling; if a person is agitated, they'll either get fearful or agitated, if you're calm, they'll be calm. Dogs don't have long memories, and though some things might spark up fear within them, they won't know why. Torturing these poor animals won't teach them a lesson, it'll teach them fear, it'll give them a sense of agony, and it'll give them a fake stereotype when they try to defend themselves. I do support ALL dog breeds, and I thank you for being one of the people who have nothing against pits.

That is the biggest difference between my parents and I. I absolutely love ALL dog breeds and my parents absolutely hate small dogs and pit bulls in general.
I don't think we'll ever agree on dog breeds...

That's what I keep thinking, but I'm not one to pry in their business or the matter in which they think.
Maybe it's because when they were growing up their parents had large hunting dogs and they follow the media much too often on pit bulls, so I have a hard time convincing them at all.

all the dogs we've ever had in my family have been pitts, we've got two blues now, and they're so sweet and nice, it all about how you raise them. i hate what everyone says about pitt bulls. its ridiculous.

bout time dammit bulldogs are adorable there like 5 foot toddlers i just played with like 4 pups yesterday and i got a lil scratched but they are the most friendly dogs ive ever met and it really sucks people train them to fight a real shame if you ask me

It is true. Most people who do not like Pit Bulls have never met one in their life and are far too ignorant to learn about the breed. 
I support all dog breeds, but Pit Bulls one of the ones I support the most.

Believe me, this stamp isn't ugly at all. It's beautiful and the message along with it is great.
And what you said in the description is the truth... pit bulls are cute dogs like any other... people thinking and saying that they're bad dogs are just ignorant.
In fact, it's only people's fault if these dogs get bad because of the lack of proper education or wrong education and if they got such a bad reputation.
You have all my admiration for the job you do at the shelter.

We went to a shelter just before Christmas and all but three of the dogs in their were Pit Bulls.
It broke my heart I wanted to take them all home with me but the one we did adopt was the skinniest one of the whole lot.
Now's shes gaining weight and is my cuddle buddy.

Yep, we had one for a little bit. You knew that right? I don't remember talking to you about it. But she was a sweetie and dad insisted we get rid of her just because of her breed, and gave her away to his friends who had two small children... as if that would be better even if she was violent.
