History: Calliope was born to her mother and father, the rulers of the Diamond region. On the day she was born her father was visited by the goddess, Aegis, who offered an exchange. Calliope's body for 100 years of peace over the diamond region. The father, troubled at first, eventually was coerced by the thought of safety and peace for his kingdom, and without the consent of his newborn daughter, or the queen, made the contract with the goddess. And so it would be, on her 18th birthday, Calliope would be no more, and her body would be given to Aegis to call her own.

In order to keep the goddess appeased, Calliope was to be kept from harm at all times. She wasn't to be in the sun for it could damage her skin, she wasn't allowed to train in battle techniques at the chance she would scar. She was kept on a strict diet and exercise regimen in order to keep her body healthy and strong. She was home-schooled at the castle where she was taught by the greatest scholars in the capitol, and where she practiced her defensive magic. Calliope was surrounded by guards at all times and was only allowed to socialize under close supervision.

This all started before she could remember and her life has always been this way. To her kingdom she is a figurehead and symbolic of peace and prosperity, and she was always taught to remember what her sacrifice has done for her country. In the last remaining year of her life she was allowed to attend Enhalo to make herself stronger for the goddess, not for herself. Though the risk of harm was greater, her parents knew that Aegis would want a body that was strong both magically and physically and what better place to learn than a school for gods. And so Calliope was sent off to Enhalo to spend the last remaining months of her life.

UPDATE:
After some time at Enhalo, she met a deliquent named Risk. Along with his guidance and the support of other friends, Leviathan, Gamma, Jericho, Vanja, etc. She decided to allow herself to be reborn into a new body as a chimera, using a small plush bird from her roommate as inspiration for her new design.

Overview: Calliope can be a bit socially awkward, quiet and reserved, she's not used to interacting with a lot of people. However she is very well mannered and can be witty and a good conversationalist, something she learned being a diplomat for her country. Calliope keeps up a persona as a regal and sophisticated young lady but she does have a curiosity about her to try new things, however she's often anxious and conscious about anything that could cause harm to her physically. She is prone to overreacting in any sort of situation that she would consider a "close call".

Miscellaneous:
Multilingual-Calliope can speak fluently in common language (english) as well as diamond's official language. She can also speak the official language of ruby, amber and obsidian as well as demon language moderately well.
Hemophelia-Calliope is diagnosed with hemophilia, meaning when she bleeds her blood will not clot as easily or quickly as healthy hybrids.
Musically gifted-Calliope can play the harp, violin, and flute.
